Common Questions
What People Usually Ask
What exactly happens during the Household Records Walkthrough?
The session runs for approximately three hours. A Quietharbor team member guides participants through each category of household document — from MyKad and passport copies to EPF statements, insurance correspondence, household bills, and family directories. Participants follow along, build a personal checklist, and label a starter folder during the session. The walkthrough covers organization, not the content of any specific document.
Is the Caregiver Information Series only for adult children?
It is designed with adult children in mind, but the content is useful for any family member who has taken on a caregiver or coordinating role for an elderly relative. Partners and siblings are welcome to attend together on a single seat. The sessions focus on frameworks for conversation and record organization, rather than personal advice.
How is the Yearlong Companionship Programme structured?
The programme runs for twelve months and includes monthly group meetings, four quarterly one-on-one sessions, and access to a private chat group with the Quietharbor team for general organizational questions. All session materials are provided. The annual fee covers one participant; please contact us if you would like to discuss additional participants.
Do I need to bring my actual documents to a session?
No documents are required to attend. Sessions are educational — the team walks through categories and labeling practices without handling individual participant documents. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you find it helpful to reference them during the walkthrough, but it is not a requirement.
Are sessions held in person at your George Town office?
Most sessions are held at our Jalan Macalister premises in George Town. We occasionally arrange sessions at partner venues for group bookings. Please contact us to discuss your preferred arrangement. The Yearlong Companionship Programme monthly meetings are held at our office.
What is the pricing and how do I pay?
The Household Records Walkthrough is RM 490 per participant. The Caregiver Information Series (three sessions) is RM 1,260. The Yearlong Companionship Programme is RM 2,940 for twelve months. Payment details are confirmed at booking. Please reach out through the contact form or by phone to register your interest.
