1. Definitions

• "Quietharbor" refers to the business operating under that name at Lot 15, Jalan Macalister, 10400 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.
• "Programmes" refers to the Household Records Walkthrough, Caregiver Information Series, and Yearlong Caregiver Companionship Programme offered by Quietharbor.
• "Participant" refers to any individual who registers for or attends a Quietharbor programme.
• "Website" refers to the Quietharbor website accessible at https://quietharboriopo.pro.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
• "Content" refers to all materials, workbooks, checklists, and information provided by Quietharbor during or in connection with its programmes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Website or registering for a Quietharbor programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or register for a programme.

Our programmes are designed for adults aged 18 and above. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Programme Description

Quietharbor offers the following programmes, subject to availability:

• Household Records Walkthrough — a single structured workshop session of approximately three hours, focused on household document organization for Malaysian households. Fee: RM 490 per participant.
• Caregiver Information Series — a series of three workshops for adult children supporting elderly relatives through household record organization. Fee: RM 1,260 per seat.
• Yearlong Caregiver Companionship Programme — a twelve-month programme including monthly group meetings, quarterly one-on-one sessions, and private chat access. Fee: RM 2,940 per participant for twelve months.

Programme content is organizational in nature. Quietharbor does not provide financial, legal, medical, or any other specialist advisory services. Any specialist matter arising during a programme will be referred to qualified professionals independently engaged by the participant.

Programmes are normally conducted at our Jalan Macalister premises in George Town. Alternative arrangements for group bookings may be available; please contact us to discuss.

4. Registration

Registration for programmes is completed through the contact form on our Website or by direct communication with the Quietharbor team. A registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and a written confirmation from Quietharbor.

Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information. Quietharbor reserves the right to decline registration where information provided is incomplete or inaccurate.

5. Payment Terms

All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment methods and instructions are provided at the time of registration confirmation. Full payment is required before the first session commences, unless a written payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.

Fees are non-refundable once a programme has commenced, except where Quietharbor cancels a session (see Section 6). If you are unable to attend a registered session, please contact us as early as possible; we will consider transfer requests to a later session on a case-by-case basis.

6. Cancellations and Session Changes

Quietharbor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, including facilitator unavailability or insufficient registered participants. In such cases, registered participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the relevant session fee.

Participants who cancel more than 14 days before a programme start date may request a transfer to a later session. Cancellations within 14 days of the programme start date are non-refundable. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

7. Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

• Attend sessions at the scheduled time and location
• Engage respectfully with other participants and the facilitation team
• Not record, photograph, or reproduce session content without written consent from Quietharbor
• Not share login credentials or access details for any digital resources provided as part of the Yearlong Programme
• Use materials and content provided by Quietharbor for personal household organization purposes only, not for redistribution or commercial use

8. Intellectual Property

All Content produced or provided by Quietharbor — including workbooks, checklists, session guides, and website content — remains the intellectual property of Quietharbor. Participants are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own household organization purposes during and after the programme.

Reproduction, distribution, or adaptation of Quietharbor materials for any commercial purpose is prohibited without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer

Quietharbor programmes are educational and organizational in nature. Nothing provided during a session or through associated materials constitutes financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Participants are encouraged to seek independent specialist advice on matters requiring professional opinion.

Quietharbor makes no representation that the organizational approaches discussed during sessions are appropriate for any particular participant's individual circumstances. Outcomes from attending a programme will depend on the participant's own circumstances and actions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Quietharbor's liability for any loss or damage arising from participation in its programmes or use of the Website is limited to the programme fee paid by the relevant participant. Quietharbor is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses.

This limitation does not apply in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Malaysian law.

11. Indemnification

Participants agree to indemnify Quietharbor against any claims, losses, or damages arising from their breach of these Terms and Conditions or their misuse of programme materials.

12. Termination

Quietharbor may terminate a participant's access to a programme, with immediate effect and without refund, where the participant has materially breached these Terms and Conditions, behaved in a manner that is disruptive or disrespectful, or provided materially false registration information.

Participants enrolled in the Yearlong Programme may withdraw at any time by written notice to [email protected]. No partial refund is available upon withdrawal from the Yearlong Programme after it has commenced.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to informal resolution by written notice to [email protected]. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between Quietharbor and the participant.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure by Quietharbor to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: Participants may not assign their rights under these Terms without Quietharbor's written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Website or participation in programmes after any such update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
